N0 it is not missing as in gone but it might as well be. Here is the deal I bought another diesel 93 C3500 and when I bought it is wasn't running right so I took it to a mechanic. The previous owner bought a new injector pump and injectors installed them and could not get it to run right it was missing and blowing white smoke so the mechanic tried to time it and it would not time so he put a new timing chain on it now it will start and idle with out a miss but as soon as you give it a tiny bit of fuel it will start missing and blowing black smoke when you drive it it doesn't clear up it still runs rough I can't even put it in 5th gear without it bucking. I NEED HELP please

OUCH! Hard to call. Is your mechanic willing to keep working on it till it runs right?

Also, I had an experience where I had a broken rocker and it missed out.
