Hello world
I have a 1994 1/2 ton ext. 4x4 6.5 turbo diesel that has seen better days. It has only one cylinder that has compression that is up to spec. The Injectors are all worn, it has 300,000km on it, and it makes a hell of a racket when it's running. I got it checked out by a mechanic before I bought it, but he didn't do compression tests on diesels. I was soooo stupid not getting the compression tested before I bought. I have owned four Volkswagon Rabbit diesels and absolutely loved them. I also owned a 81 Mercedes 300SD turbo diesel and I loved that car too. So I have enough experience to know that I should have known to get the compression checked before I bought. Someone please shoot me..... now..... And now the thing won't start even when I have the inline blockheater plugged in and it's all warm. I think it may be the inline fuel pump, but I'm not sure, so I'll have to look in the FAQ section and see if my answer is there.
Oh well.... maybe it will spontaneously catch on fire and I won't have to worry about it anymore....:help:
