Ordered my new truck yesterday. :D GMC Fire Red 2500HD 4X4 SLT Crew Cab. This place is great to gather information. Now I need to start ordering parts for all the Mods. The dealer is installing the 265 Revo's. I need to get Escalade door handles, Bed Rug, ARE cover, new grill (still deciding on which one), Lux Amp & at the top of the list red fender flairs. My Credit card is going to get a work out. Now the hard part is the wait.

for Escalade door handles go to ebay will find them for cheap on there get a set for a tahoe so you dont get keyholes in all of them. bed rug are you going to put a camper shell on it or what if not i would get it line-x

Fire red is only offered with the textured black flairs.:( I need to find a cheap source for smooth GM flairs and have them painted.

I ordered a truck on 19Jan and came very close to ordering that color, you don't see many of them around!:) However, I still like silver birch a tiny bit better. Too bad there is a billion of them on the road!:eek:

BTW, I got an extended cab too. Actually had too because the dealers don't stock them anymore. I think they look better and $2000 cheaper too. The sales guys were all giving me grief because I wouldn't buy one of the two dozen crews they had sitting on the lot. They were saying everyone else gets crew cabs and I said yeah and everyone else pays you guys an extra $2000. If I had a big family I would go for a crew but I don't, so I won't!:eek: :eek: :eek:

Thanks for the heads up on the keyholes. I was planning on ordering the handles from GM parts direct. Would I be better off on ebay?

I plan to use an ARE tonneau cover. I like the finished look of the Bed Rug so figured I would try it this time.

Thanks! I am hoping the rebates will go up by the time the truck comes in. The dealer will apply the current rebate at that time. I was also warned that the new rebate may not be as good. I figure it can't get much worse than 500.00.

There's alot of trucks on the ground out there. Sales have been flat this month. With all the bad corporate financial news, and the plan to do the model year switch early this year...they better get to movin' 'em! I see the cash incentives going up $500-1000 on both LBZ/LLY, respectively, from what they are now (there's $2500 on half-tons now), and/or a point or two lower across the chart for GMAC rates.
They may leave the cash the same, but offer 0% again...even just on LLY's that are out there. I'd take an LLY/6 speed Ally '06 if the rebate went to 2K or better...or take the $1500 LLY cash as it is now and 0%.

Remember I got 1K and 0% 60 mo. GMAC on this one so it's not an impossibility. :)

The thing about the little or no interest is that it stretches the pain of lower return per vehicle over time for GM, as opposed to the cash incentives which are an immediate punch in the balls.

I've got that 2K GM card bump also,
as well as an ACV $ for mine that puts me at 7K in equity.
and my price is invoice+reggie/inspection/tire fee/...totaling about $100.

He tried to slap me with the advertising the last time, and I called him on not mentioning it to me prior and he split it with me... I don't know how I feel about that this time...I'm pretty much gonna tell him I'm not gonna pay it and see what he says...then offer him the split, before he has a stroke.

Like my general manager buddy said last week "the incentives NEVER get lower this time of year"...

i think you can beat ebays prices on some stuff but get the price from gm and then search around on ebay and find a better price that is what i do and if i dont find a better price i buy from another place

I looked at the silver birch and came close to getting one but I have sandstone now and it is so easy to keep clean I just could not make the change.
I heard the same thing on the crew cabs I told them it was not my problem they ordered the wrong thing and had so many on the lot.
Part of the reason I had to wait so long was christmas shut down.

My pmt will actually go down $43 based on the same 60 mo. term.

this is w/ NO CASH INTO THE DEAL! :eek:

either way the equity looks great at 24 and 36 mos. Similar numbers to this one.

~20K balance at 24 mo. with the 72 term

I believe it is an electronic directory that points the web browser to where a web page is stored. The only thing I understand is it's all messed up. My subscription ran out also. I did renew but it is still not activated. No pictures. :(
