hi folks, new member here, been reading here for about 3 months, decided to buy 2006 chevrolet 3500 cc 4wd lbz drw, traded 04 f-350 cc psd with less than 15,000 miles, no explanation needed i hope. yes i did look at dodge also, but did not offer megacab in longbed, and trans did not shift as well as the allison. 2500 miles and no problems, impresses me more every time i drive it. mpg started at 12.9 and has slowly moved up to 15.5 but i did not buy for mileage, bought to pull 3712 keystone raptor, 15,500#. had same camper behind ford, same axle ratio 3:73 both trucks and chevy out pulls old truck by a wide margin. sorry i have not figured out how to attach pictures to these threads yet, avatar is picture of truck. will send better pictures after i figure out how.
