Hey guys, If I understand correctly the EGT probe that comes wtih the speedloader lets it read the EGT and back off fuel if EGT's get near 1400. Even though the recommend towing on level 3 while towing can I set it to lets say......4-5 for pulling up the grade?? If the EGT's are being monitored and power adjusted accordingly can I drive without worry? I still plan on gettin and EGT guage to keep an eye on it and so that I can back my foot off before the comp. backs the power off while approaching higher EGT's.

Anyone have the answer?

Chaps, its true, you won't have to worry, the system will self adjust. But, you don't really want to be running it at 1300 degree's all the time. The gauges that come with the set up plug into the six gun. (No second thermocouple needed) Also, it won't cut out instantly, its a gradual power loss, so you'll want to watch the gauge and turn it down.

Thanks for the info Bucky, if only I could get one in time for......um tommorrow. I will just take it semi-easy this trip and go ahead and all banks up and order the guage next week.

Will Autometer gauges work with the Banks speed loader so I dont have to install 2 probes?
