A FRIEND OF MINE DROVE MY TRUCK WHEN i BOUGHT IT 5 MONTHS AGO AND RECENTLY DROVE IT AGAIN AND SAID"MAN IT FEELS LIKE ITS GRABBING ALOT HIGER THANK IT WAS" I NEVER REALLY NOTICED A CHANGE IN THE PEDEL UNTIL HE TOLD ME. I WOULD SAY YES IT DOES FEEL KINDA HIGH. TRUCK HAS 28K DOESNT SLIP A BIT JUST ENGAGES HIGH. ITS NOT ADJUSTABLE IS IT? ANYWAY WHAT YA GUYS THINK?

The stock clutch is a self adjusting clutch. What I've read so far leads me to think that as the flywheel goes south, the clutch slips. The pressure plate will sense this wear and adjust forward to take up the difference. It should maintain the same pedal height. If your pedal height is rising, most likely the pressure plate is fully adjusted and the disc is probably not long for this world.

I have always thought mine starts to make contact very low. Just an inch or so off the floorboard, and it will start to move the truck in 1st or Rev.
