Thanks

I expect the new HD interior to follow the new Tahoe interior, which is a good thing. Surely it will have a nav system, just about everything does now.

I've been giving that some thought. IF this is true, I think it will be difficult to get a bench seat in the front of these trucks since that Tahoe console is so big and extends so far into the passenger area.

What do you think?

While the GMT900 pickup dash will be very similar to the SUVs (spy photos show a similar hump over the instrument panel), it cannot have the exact same center section. Base model pickups will still have manual transmission and 4WD selector, neither of which are possible with the SUV center section that 'blends' into the console.

I hope that's the case. I like the Tahoe dash, but I would want a bench seat in the front with a crew-cab... and I was worried about that huge console

This is where I'm getting twisted, I have about another 40,000 miles to go on the current vehicle that I have, which means by November early December I will be ready to buy, do I get the new platform, or Do I go with the current model. My gut is telling me to wait a few more months, say like Feb 2007 and get the new platform. I can not wait to see the spec on the new HD's
