I bought a pair of aircraft landing lights (4.5 inch)100w/true 90,000 candle power. Man these little suckers are bright. You need an 8 guage wire and relay to run them.
They fit perfect in the fog light housing. I think I will use them for off road travel.
And the best parts is they only cost $13.00 dollars.
Napa part number # 4509 spot,aircraft 13v
Do you have clearance Clarence?? Are you sure they won't melt your air dam?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

I've seen 500w 6.5" aircraft landing lights (14.4volt) at Lordco (a Canadian auto parts store) for around $30.. I might go that route, but your setup sounds perfect for a GMC!
