Al I can say is i gotta lot of respect for you techs. Changed my fuel filter for the first time today...there was a lotta swearing going on. They sure dont make these things easy to work on do they ?http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif

Pulled out the battery andthen the fun started..how do you unplug the wires in the filter...bend up ac lines to make enogh room to get filter out. I cant even imagine tearing an engine down..later, bc

I also like to pick a safe spot to hurl a wrench at. A sheet of 1/2 " plywood leaning against the wall makes a good "thud" when hit with a 3/4" box wrench at about 10'.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif

Try removing the passenger inner fender liner.........

A couple of clips and easy filter changing.

Most the time a big hammer will help also. You could just relocate your filter out by your front license plate for easier access.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gifhttp://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big%20Smile.gif

Even with that, there's the big clip near the front bottom that is a major pain to remove. It's the one that doesn't have the inserts, just the barbs!
