A local dealer has a new 2500HD 4x4 regular cab 1LT sitting on the lot with the LLY/ZF6 combo. I stopped in to take a test drive in it. All I can say is that thing is Censored SWEET!:ro)
What really shocked me is how light the clutch pedal is compared to my 1500 gasser. It just felt to me like it was either engaged or disengaged, there wasn't much of a progressive feel to it. The shift pattern took a little getting used to because it's quite a bit tighter than my NV 3500. Needless to say, I've been sporting wood since I hopped out of that truck two hours ago.
If anybody is looking for one in the West Central Ohio area, the truck is at Piqua Chevrolet in Piqua, OH. Their phone number is (937) 773-6100. It's quite a nice rig, it just has a few more toys than I want in my next truck.
