I'm trading my '99 Ford diesel, x-cab, 4x4, 6-sp, short bed for a new Chevy 4x4, crew, LLY, ZF 6-sp(on order - like I had to do with the Ford). Of course I can't get factory leather (the aftermarket will take care of that along with seat ventilation) or shift on the fly 4x4 (any advice - can you swap NV 271 from the Ford?)

My big question is regarding moving my Gear Vendors over-drive to the Chevy. Doesn't look like GV has a tail housing adapter, at least not yet.

I emailed them last fall and they were working on a unit for the Allison, but they made no mention of a unit for the ZF 6-speed. Go to their website and send an email, alot could've happened in 6 months.

It would definitely be a nice option to have. I try and grab seventh once in a while...

You can get leather, just not heated... And you can shift on the fly with the floor mount shifter, too.

I went through the options with the dealer on their computer selection screen, they couldn't select leather with the manual. What combination of options do I need? I ordered an LT1 (manual tranny appears to preclude an LT2 or 3)

Floor shift on the fly,I wish.Must be a new feature because with my 01' you have to be going less than 10mph.
