I AM ABOUT TO INSTALL THE NSBU SWITCH, IN THE DIRECTIONS ON LINE #12 IT SAYS, "IMPORTANT: BEFORE STARTING VEHICLE, CLEAR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC)". DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I DID START IT, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A CODE READER THINGAMABOB?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

Don't worry about it. I still had the codes when I installed my new one. You can clear the codes later. Nick

It would only be the case if you were in "limp" mode ....

Don't sweat it ...

THANKS GUYS FOR THE HELP..

EVERYTHING IS BACK TO NORMAL, I TURNED THE IGNITION ON AND OFF A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT CAME OFF. I HOOKED THE JUICE BACK UP AND I AM HAPPY AGAIN. I DROVE THE TRUCK FOR 1 DAY WITHOUT THE JUICE AND IT SUCKED! I TOOK THE JUICE OUT BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS PART OF THE PROBLEM I WAS HAVING WITH THE TRANSMISSION.

THANKS AGAINhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

The SES (service engine soon ) light illuminates to tell you DTC (diagnostic trouble codes ) are stored in the ECM (engine control module)and or TCM (transmission control module) ...

Hope your problem is fixed !!!!
