can you store diesel for long periods(2-3 months)or does it go bad like gas does after 30 days?

are there additives to help it store longer?

thanks

As long as the fuel is protected from airborne contaminants and moisture by putting a desiccant breather on the tank, all will be fine. Diesel fuel is surface reactive and hygroscopic so if left exposed to air, the diesel fuel will become contaminated with both dirt and water.

You might also want to use an anti-microbial additive for periods longer than say 3 months. In warm conditions, bacteria can grow in diesel fuel.
