Does anyone have any POWER folding mirrors that they might be interested in trading for the Power Telescoping Towking Mirrors...

I just bought a 2004 Duramax SLT 4x4 Shortbed and LOVE it..

We have a 3 card garage and I park in the single Bay as i dont trust my wifes parking so give her the double wide bay. The problem is I found out the Telescoping mirrors do not automatically fold in like they do on my wifes 2005 Yukon. I have to roll down the window, pull in the Telescoping mirror and slowly drive in. I have about 4 inches to spare so I dont hit the sides of the garage.

I would like to trade these out for a set of folding mirrors that come on the 2004 GMC vehicles.. Is this easy to do?? anyone know??

I would trade you but I just cracked my passenger side glass, also I live in Alaska so shipping for them might be a little much.

You Do Know You Will Have To Have The Computer Reflashed If You Change Your Towing Mirrors With Power Folding Mirrors, Or It Will Not Power Fold ? Dealer Charges About $100.00 For This To Get Reflashed From Dealer, And The Same For The Person You Trade Mirrors With.

I'll do it!

I have the power folding mirrors in perfect condition. My truck is just over 2 months old.

Where are you located?

Taco did you get them changed out? I had the PFM on my 03 1500 and loved them. I really liked how they had the auto look down when in rev. Did you have to get them reflashed like RUMAXED stated? If so how do they work for you and do you have the look down option in the DIC?
