I installed the juice attitude combo. When I am not in tow mode, the attitude says the tranny is slipping all the time even on level one??


I just don't want to toast the tranny.


If I put it in tow mode and lay in it........shows no slip?


Should this be slipping all the time in level 0 or 1? or is this reading not correct??

It is just showing torque converter slip. Once the TC locks up there will be no more slip.

it doesn't seem to ever completely lock up unless I am in tow/haul?

The converter does not lock up till your in 5th gear in normal mode. When t/h is activated, converter is locked from 2nd to 5th. When the converter is locked you should see no slippage.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

Set the Attitude display so you can see what gear your in. Then take it out on the highway. You should see the trans shift into 5th and then the little "lock" icon come on right next to the number 5. You need some speed and not very much load when not in tow/haul mode for the converter to lock.
