2002 Duramax 2500HD 4WD w/Allison Tranny VIN 1GCHK23112F214783

Truck ran fine and sat for about one week. After a dead battery start (I knew it was going) the truck now kicks out of gear while driving. The electrical system gets weird (ABS and PARK BRAKE lights come on) then the truck kicks out of gear after about 10 seconds. If I place the truck in neutral and back to gear it will engage for another 10 seconds.

If I keep my foot on the brake in gear and rev the engine it does not do this. It acts like it will pull fine.

Any help would be appreciated...

Are you jumping it when you are starting it? If you are that is why. When my batteries went I jumped it, after that it was doing all kinds of strange things like you stated, I put new batteries in it and everything was fine.
