I have done a search but I was wondering if anyone had anything new to say about the bully dog outlook monitor as opposed to using regular guages.

I have an Outlook. I am very happy with the setup. Has everything you'll ever need from gauges plus a whole lot more. The best thing in my mind is that gauges create a blind spot for me, the Outlook doesn't. I'm comfortable with the Outlook.

Yes I read read the first thread, but I was unsure what you meant by pyro 2 boost. I was more concearned on whether it was necesary to run tubing for the boost gauge or if it took the reading from the sensor already on the truck.

Blue Crew,

We sell a lot of them just for gauges alone and not connected with a programmer or module. The boost reading is sourced from the computer as well. You do have to drill and tap for the pyro info though. The Outlook has the capability to have two different pyro signals. You will have to install two thermocouples, one for each reading. This is for folks that want a pre and post pyro signal. Call us if you have any questions we'll be glad to help you.

I like really mine as well. I guess they used to have problems with old ones, heard the lights would burn out. I called bullydog and they assured me the new ones are new and improved and recalled the old stock in the field. You can tell the new units because there is no connector on the back for the wiring, it's soldered on.

FYI. It comes with one pyro only and the gage always shows pre-turbo pyro in left bottom quadrants. Also you can't read codes and reset them on a Duramax but you can on a ford... That's week.
