Was tooling around and happenned to open the aircleaner box..mice turds and insulation for a nest. Anyone else have this problem ? Maybe I'll find a way to place screen over the large intake hole in the side of the box. Later, bchttp://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clown.gif

My Land Cruises generally are parked for the winters. Every year I have to chase out the squirrels!

A mothball dropped in the bottom of the airbox may make it less inviting to mice, the naphthalene vapors may give the engine a boost!

Back in the 60s I had a Honda that made a trip or two to the drag strip. I'd fill a 5 gallon gas can with 100/130 avgas and drop in a handful of moth balls. That was some potent stuff!!

I was on a construction site working once. They put us up in some housing down the street on a ranch. I was sleeping on the sofa and could hear things moving under me. I flipped on the light and mice were running everywhere.
I armed my .45 with the bigger mag (9rounds) but they were too fast.
I had to get mouse traps with peanut butter and a cat.

I find acorn shells on top of my engines all time. I think the go there to keep warm at night. My freind's drag car has it's plug wires all chewed up.

The best solution may be to put 5 large bull snakes under the hood. Just remember to remove them before driving or you will have to buy a lot of new snakes.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

In the "Wheels" section of the Toronto Star a few weeks back, a woman wrote in about rodents eating the wiring of her new Jag. She thought it was clearly a design fault that allowed this to happen and she couldn't understand why warranty was denied.
