Fingers Stick Hasn't Been Tested On An 06 LLY. Try It At Your Own Risk.

the code is po401, and yes i bought a blocker plate but was not able to use it. i did block the egr though by making my own plates.

Yeah thats the same one that I'm pulling. Apparently PPE has an EGR code eliminator but i'm not sure if it will work on the 06. For now...I am going to try the 1/8/06 reflash and see if it helps and post back.

I have seen other things on ebay that say they are good through 06 but I do not think they realize the motor has changed. They just see LLY and assume it is the same as an 05 when really it is the detuned LBZ. I would be careful on this purchase. I am hoping someone on this forum can make one - or if someone is willing to spend the $45 to try it and post results. My 2 cents.

the engine being different is not the problem it is the computer change that is the prob.

On the LLY forum some of the guys have said that there is a flash update that was released in september that has addressed the egr issue for the 05-. Not sure if this applies to the 06's but i am going to give it a try and post back.

My truck was built in 8/05 so I am hoping that the update will get rid of it!

the 1/8/06 reflash does nothing for the egr but to stop a pop off situation at 75+ % throttle at 3-4 shift it wont stop codes for block off plates. if you need the update youll know it it wont help you a bit if you dont have a truck with the problem and o yeah its for 05lly not 06 compltely different computer system 05 delphi w ficm 06 bosch pcm no ficm. happy hacking.

That is a copy of the Fingers' Stick.

Pretty lame, but Fingers didn't patent the thing so it's legal.

Needless to say... if THIS works on an '06, then the Fingers' Stick will work on an '06.

PPE has a code blocker that works on the 06 LLY and LBZ:ro)

I know the flange between the EGR Inlet and EGR cooler is different then the one on my LLY (I have the LBZ now) so it looks like a new design may have to be made. The MAF is new in 06 as well due to the new airbox. Not sure if that has any effect on how fingers has to make his stick.

i just ordered a airraid intake out of summit racing and the 5" ehxaust, i will be looking to do the egr delete. as for the air raid intake theres a much more open space for air to come into instead of that little oval on the inner fender so i dont see how the truck wont be getting more air into the motor to burn extra fuel, as for the actual filtration they will be about equal.

the air raid intake is 200-187. the instructions and pictures are located at: http://airaid.com/pdf/200-187.pdf

Yeah, I guess they just released it a week and a half ago. I believe it costs $160 and needs to be spliced in the same as the finger stick. I called Dan and told him to ship me one. I will let everyone know how it works! Dan also seemed to think that it may help with my p0101 codes as well. I certainly hope so......

I don't think they have any docs or anything like that related to it, but it's on their price sheet. Their page is located at http://www.pacificp.com .

ATS has the fix in the works... already on Clint's LBZ to cure codes from EGR and turbo changes. Call ATS for info.

I will if someone has a plate and if it won't throw any more codes. Actually speaking of....anyone have a template of the 06 EGR that they may care to scan and share?

Once I get the PPE egr code eliminator installed I am going to pull it and fab a blocker plate. I will post a scan of the plate when i get around to doing this in the next few weeks!
