I just got the new SC3 kit that Joe built for me and am installing it today. I hope to have it done by tomorrow. I will do a full report on it.

Cool! You got it today I would have expected it to be done within 1 hour of it coming through your door :D

Are you getting old and slowing down or something? ):h

I am measuring every part and matching LLY parts side by side as I go along.

Ok......I'm not going to stay stock but I'm just going for a little bump in performance. And no I have never said that before ;) :D

when should we see a IV kit out because once the lbz gets some programers out im going to sale my current truck and start the upgrading process all over again. also what kind of prices should i expect for the III, IV kits if i may ask

dmaxalliTech

Mine is a IV. Same prices as before.

DIESELMAN75

i thought it was going to be more because of the sixth speed but that is cool that it is not. Oh and how much would the a complete IV trans ready to be put in cost

I imagine that getting cores this early in the game would be tough.

I don't know what Joe charged me on this kit since it is the first. Call him. SC4 kit is available.now. I would imagine the kits to be slightly higher but don't know. I want to see how the calibration works for the 4-5 shift with existing strategy and SC clutch update. Looks like the SC converter flow vavle ( knock down pressure ) will work fine but I have to find out a few things in the am as far as converter exhaust. Things will be moving real fast as of now. Stay tuned.:D

Mike L. i live in California around the Monterey area and i would like to know how much would you charge me if i went to your shop and had either the IV, or the V installed when i get ready to do a trans upgrade and alos how long would it take for it to be done

Mike's phone # is in his sig, best bet is to give him a call.

At this point I think I need to drive the truck and test a few things and give Joe Webb ( Suncoast ) my feedback. We may have to tweek some; maybe not. The Ally is assembled on the stand and ready. We are guessing on the converter ( stall ratio. LBZ is a little peppier on the bottom and midrange)

I just got done driving the truck and am very pleased. The shift strategy in these trucks is much better than before and the SC 3 kit with the #56 converter feels great.

This truck came straight from the dealer to me. It never had time for any power upgrade. The owner of the truck is interested in more power and an exhaust system. Exhaust will go in next week and power program is up in the air right now. Trans cooler is already being built by Setrab.

Now that I have worked with Joe to develop this new stuff and test it, it can be done in a day. My next goal is to some how bring the '06 shift strategy to the early models.

i know it is not an easy task to remove the trans rip it apat apgrade it and put it all back together and back in the truck in on day i know that is alot of work i did not ever say that it was or would be an easy task just that i wish i could buy a new truck and take it to a shop to get upgrades right after i bought it and that right there would not be an easy tack for me

yeah i got credit but i try to stay away from using it because i like to have the money before i go and buy 4-5k things but smaller things i have no prob putting on credit because i know when the bill comes around i will have the money to pay for it

so now you would be able to do it in one day so when i ready to upgare my trans i could take the truck down to you and be out of there the same day that would be sweet if that was possible

You are correct. I am taking my sweet time with this truck thanks to Patrick:ro) ( trucks owner ). I will be able to do this mod in one day because the R/D is now done. I was not rushed to throw something out there and have it fail. I was given enough time to work with Suncoast and Joe put the package together.:ro) The LBZ Suncoast kit will knock your socks off.:D I guaranf..ktee it.
