Hey there, I didn't really want to make another thread here, but I am almost 100% that this has not been answered yet. Does EFILive work with Apple computers and operating systems?

If you get the mac book pro you should be able to run Windows on it eventually. You might have to wait until Windows Vista ships though.

I wonder if EFILive would run on a mac-windows emulator like VirtualPC?? I dont have a mac so ive never really used VPC and dont know the limitations of it, if its supports USB Flashscan drivers and whatnot...

Powerful software requires powerful tools.):h

And a Mac just doesn't have the horsepower:joke:

If you load linux, and run WINE windows emulator and XP you might get it to work.. but it is a little flaky on com signals

Too bad we are talking about new new Mac anounced this week, it has the latest Intel dual core processor, as fast as anything out there right now. Plus, no Microsoft

Yeah Intel feels like a betrayal to us too. We were perfectly happy with IBM PowerPCs until IBM quit delivering updates as promised.

Used to really like their notebooks too.

But the quality of late seems.... lacking.

Toshiba (I hate to say it) has done a phenomenal job over the last 3 years.

More integrated stuff, same cost, better chipset and performance WITH a widescreen.
