Hello -
This question may have already been asked, but I have done searches here and haven't found an answer. So here goes! I have an 03 DMax/Alli/CC/SB. I want to upgrade to the transferflow 45-gallon replacement tank, and also want to add additional fuel filtration. I like the idea of using the Racor kit due to it's impending GM approval, but I cannot get anyone at Racor or Transferflow to tell me if these products will work together.
I know the Nicktane kit is cheaper and will work AND has gotten lots of good reviews here, so that is probably my backup plan. However, I live in MI and take trips to the UP in winter and think that having the heater (in the Racor kit) would be worth the extra $$$.
If anyone can advise me on how to figure this out, I would greatly appreciate it. I have determined from the press release that the racor kit is ahead of the factory fuel cooler, so it seems to me that if the cooler doesn't have to move for the transferflow, then the racor kit should work.
Of course, this line of reasoning might be totally wacky, too. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
Again, any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
