Considering how little gain people are seeing on LB7's and LLY's, I seriously doubt there will be ANY benefit to running one on a LBZ. They have a totally redesigned(larger) intake. The redesign was probably due to the LLY's over-heating problems.

osixxLBZ,

We have had the LBZ AFE Pro Guard 7 replacement filters for a while now, they are selling well and working good. The Stage II intake will be out sometime in Feb most likely. Lots of folks don't like promoting intakes and filters, there are lots of good reasons to get one. Quicker spool up on the turbo, EGT drop and supplying the engine with more air especially if you add a moduel/programmer. More air is essential to make sure you get the full BTU use/burn out of the fuel. I mean why do folks add nitrous when they reach the end of their rope on making HP, because it's just like adding more cold air etc. Do NOT buy an inatke for the HP gains alone, get it to compliment the fuel mods that you plan to make or the get MPG. WE sell exhaust and intakes to folks that get MPG gains as the efficiency of the engine goes up with more air to burn etc. Call us at the office if you have any questions etc.
