looking at ordering my exaust for my 06 LBZ....looking on MBRP's web site it lists off numerous kits just not sure which on i need. just wondering which will be the kit i should order.
-single
-i don't want one where the engine light is on (read on here that the one will bring it on)
-is it the S6000AL??
-is it worth waiting for the 5"?

i got the single outlet. more traditional and looks better IMO. the one that throws a code is going to be determined by whether you remove the catalitic converter or not. i would remove it, see if it throws a code. if it does- finger stick (simple electrical job) if it don't -don't worry about it.
i got the cheapest system mbrp makes. as i plan to upgrade my exhaust every few years. also it looks fine because the road aren't salted up here so it holds up just fine.
4" is big enough. your down pipe is still 3.5" with a big dent in it so going to a bigger post-downpipe isn't going to make that big of a difference.

captain extreme,
The 6000ALis for an LLY/LB7, you need the 6012AL for aluminized, or 6012409 for 409 stainless or 6012304 for 304 stainless. This is a cat back system and will keep the lights off for you. Call us at the office if you have any questions or need a system we'll be glad to help you.
