How much HP and TQ will the allison hold with out doin upgrades to it... I have a Juice with attitude and a hypertech and was wondering if it would hold....

Many opinions on this subject. Do a search and make up your mind. Some say 90 horse and your ok but my feeling is that it is a roll of the dice! My trans died at a lower hp setting than that. But...I'm kinda hard on my stuff:)

i've talked to some of the experts on here and i've come to the conclusion that you can't mess up with 40hp.

start saving for a transmission upgrade like i am.

The harder YOU are on it, the less it will hold IMO.

I drive pretty sensible with my truck most of the time with the juice on the 125hp setting 24/7 and have yet to have a problem. But this would almost certainly not be the case if I where to beat the crap out of it on a regular basis.

So if you have a lead foot, keep the power down.
