Has anyone else had and trouble the the CV's breaking, I have snapped both of mine (the cast piece that bolts onto the front differential) I really like playing hard. But I'm afraid to pull anything anymore, it's getting too expensive. The driver side broke doing a 4wd launch, and then the passenger side broke playing tug-a-war.

lower you tbars for serious play. if the cvs are straight you should be fine.

Do you have a spindle type lift? The more angle the cv's are on, the weaker they are. If the cv's are keep "inline" they are stronger than a u-joint.
If you are bouncing or spinning on ice and then hit dry ground, all that shock amplifies the load substancially.

You may be able to find an aftermarket solid front axle for it like a built Dana 60 with 40 spline cryogenically treated alloy shafts. If you can it will cost you about 6-7k but you probably won't break them.

I've cranked up my t-bars a little bit-that sounds like it may have hurt some, I don't have a lift yet, but when I do I'm seriously considering doing a straight axle up front because the truck will not be lifted just to look pretty. All those crazy angles up there with the IFS and a lift scare me especially when I'm already breaking stuff.
