Nice lookin' dog. Stuck with a 2.5 car detached and soon to be built 2 car attached.

Can't even fathom how I would organize that much space, but wish I had that problem!......

Sounds nice. I'd like to have a shop that big, the old shop we have isn't even tall enough to get the newer tractors in... Is it a morton or similar brand, or are you just building it yourself?

Thanks! He is a great dog... more like a big cat:lol: He is a real talker...

I've been working out of a 40' ocean container for years, the dirt out here is HORRIBLE to work in.

It isn't a certain brand... It is from a dealer that I know out here in Queen Creek - Steel Systems. I checked quotes from everywhere, I mean I looked for about six full months before I found the best price right here in my back yard.

I got a 40x100x14 with two 3x7 walk through doors and 3 12x12 roll ups with 3" insulation, galvalume roof and painted walls and trim delivered with tax complete for just under 28,000.

I am installing it myself with the help of several friends.

I live in Queen Creek - Johnson Ranch/SanTan area actually...

Thanks for the replies guys!

Some new pictures of the progress. Myself and two other guys framed it completely in two and a half easy days and had never done one before.

We completely sheeted it working against the wind and my bad back in 2 half days and two full ones.

Now all we have left is the roof - we have been waiting on the insulation, it will be here in the AM and I will start on the roof Friday. Hope to have it inspected and finaled on Monday.

The last one is my 6 1/2 month old german shepheard... 72 lbs! at six and a half months!

Getting along pretty good then... I need a shop like that.. Except maybe bigger.
Are the roll up doors cheaper than regular garage doors? Advantages?

Thanks guys!

I don't know if they are cheaper or not, I would guess that they are. I bought this as a kit, whole, so I do not know the individual prices on stuff. I just put together what I want and shopped around for 6 months til I found the cheapest price right in my back yard.

If you need really good insulation, you will need the garage type doors so they can be insulated. These roll ups can only be insulated with a bubblewrap type material (or so I'm told).

I did not get to start on the roof today, but I did get all the trim and drip edge up and all of the doors, so the only thing left is roof itself.
