I been getting static over the radio speakers when starting...as soon as the glow plug lights until about a mile down the road. Then get a loud 'pop' and all is back to normal. Only does it when the engine is cold (morning start or after sitting all day at work).
Took it to the dealer and got the 'could not reproduce customer complaint'. Even left it overnight, but it was a warm night (>40). Tech hadn't really done anything, hadn't even but the computer techie thing on there. He did it after I asked about a glow plug issue (occasionally see the glow plug light flash on while driving when engine warm--very sporadic). He said glow plug was pulling more volts than it should be (??).
Does this sound like a glow plug or intake heater problem? Any others with similar experience?
Thanks for the adviceEdited by: CheVet
