Have had for 2mos, love em. No problems. I hit the scales at 240lbs no flex, very stable. Wifey appreciates 'em.13450

I second that. First Class Product and work great. The only drawback was the price, but I like 'em and had to have 'em.

I've had both Kodiak and now the AMP electric steps. The AMP Research steps are 150% better than the Kodiaks. They are expensive and after having problems with the Kodiaks on my old truck I was a little skeptical. I purchased mine thru John@DPS and installed them myself. They work flawlessly even in the snow and ice. Install is time consuming but straight-foreward. I would recommend installing them yourself to save some $$$. If it weren't for the price tag I'm sure you'd see many more people using them.

Do you have a pic of it when the doors are closed? I was researching these the other day and their website said that they do no completely tuck out of sight on the GM's.

They follow the lines of the truck, tuck in out of sight, unless you know were to look you don't see em, check it13460

Pretty sweet looking, and the steps don't look bad either.... Nice truck.

My priorities just got switched last night, big crack in the windsheild just above the steering wheel... As soon as I heard it I saw it... Looks like I'll have to get it fixed... I only have 600 miles on it.... S*&*&*&*&TTTT

Thanks for the pic.

I paid $1250 for the Powersteps and I think it was $150 to install. Best product on the market IMO. Nice advantage for 4x4's is that they tuck up to give more ground clearance.

ahh yes, but they are really nice... I had mine installed by the folks over at Huckstorf in Milwaukee...since they were already doing some other stuff for me... they did a great job.

I hit the scale at 284lbs... the only flex in them is in the suspension of the truck. They rate them to hold 500lbs. I love them.

Some pics can be found here - it's still on the lift at Huck's when i took them. - so when they are up, you can see them a bit more here then when the truck is sitting on the ground. When the truck is on the ground they really aren't noticeable. Was at the Leer dealer today and the guy opened my passenger door to get the paint code off the glove box... the step came down and scared the H*ll out of him...

there's a couple of pics of it, (truck is dirty though) on the bottom of this page..

Sorry to go :offtopic:, but that P3 horn setup you have there is unbelievable! It must sound amazing, too! :cool2:

Thanks... i'm becoming sort of partial to it. The auxillary air line is invaluable as well. Quite unexpectedly, there are days when i like that even more than the horn...

Love em. Girl Friend does too. I paid about $1000 for the step and installed them myself took a while but well worth it. I just like them better it keeps the lines of the truck nice and clean!:ro) :ro)

I have had them on my 06 for about two months and love them. Great product and relatively easy install. The instructions were great and the kit came with everything. I think the install took me about 3-4 hours. If you are looking to purchase them i would recommend buying them from www.electricstep.com (http://www.electricstep.com) they are the authorized dealer and they drop shipped from the factory. I think the steps arrived in 4 buisiness days so the shipping was really quick!

I think I paid 1060$ including shipping so it was by far the best deal i saw out there. From what they told me they have a great warantee on the motors and parts as well so from what they said they stand behind their products....
