I was changing the fuel filter on my 92 3500 when I broke the plastic nipple on the water sensor. The truck would run rough, but run, after replacing the filter but fuel was squirting out from around the o-ring(on filter)
So I replaced the water sensor (ouch$$$) and now I can't get the truck to start. There is no fuel at the filter. Crank and crank and nothing! To replace the water sensor I had to remove both of the fuel lines from filter body, have I gotten air in system? What about the electric fuel pump, should it be pumping fuel to the filter with key on or only when motor is cranked?
