Ight got a Dyno question. I will be taking my truck to a Dyno in the next week. I have got a 2004 LB7, K&N intake, and Edge w/ juice. Just wondering what kinda settings I should run the Edge on to get the better results with what I am running. My other question is which would be the better gear to run the pull in 3rd or 4th? And is it hard to keep it from down shifting when you get into it? Any advise would be appreciated.

4th is the 1:1 gear and use tow/haul mode to rev it out. It only takes about 3 seconds.

Also find out if its a Mustang Dyno or a DynoJet Dyno..the Mustang dyno numbers will be lower then the DynoJets.

when I did mine yesterday I ran level 3 low boost 1, and then Level 0..thats it. Just make sure your truck is warmed up to the proper temp with the edge so you are getting full power.

A Tech II will lock it in 4th.
Set overdrive lockout also so that you don't shift into 5th.
3 runs stock
3 runs with the setting you drive daily.
3 runs with all settings maxed.
That should give you a good idea of what the truck is doing.

its a DynoJet..it says it right on the front page there. Thats actually the name of the type of dyno. These are mainly for power pulls and the other one, Mustang Dyno, is more for tuning.

I don't think my downshifted at all, but you can try and listen and tell in that short video I posted.

So the Tech II will keep it from down shifting? If so that would be nice.
