So I just got my edge in the mail, open the package and all seems well. I read the directions get everything going until I get to the overhead console portion. The directions say to remove screwsfrom the mount and seperate the 2 halves, but ALL I have is a solid chunk of aluminum in my hand. How am I supposed to "sandwich the monitor between the 2 halves" as specified? This is really just a solid piece with an angle ground into the bevel, i don't see how it will stay i place in the console let alone hold my attitude in place. The piece says ATS on it, so I assume it the actual ATS mount. Please let me know if someone has an idea since I am just a little frustrated this morning.

You need to split the attitude monitor itself. Then place the back half into the ATS from the inside. Then place the front half of the monitor in from the front of the ATS and put the screws back in. The little angled edge beveled in will hold the monitor.
Then remove the overhead console and remove the little pocket by drilling out the welded plastic rivets. Remove the pocket, run the wires through the headliner, through the console, through the ATS and hook up the monitor. Then push the ATS into the console where the pocket used to be. It will say in place, it is a pretty tight fit. Hope this helps.

This link should help, it has some pics.

make sure you put the monitor in first( ats and push in overhead) then run your cable through the lining. Arms and shoulders got really tired trying to do it hanging from the roof!!!!! Got smart and started over

This really helped. My eyes opened and I saw the light. Attitude is up and looking good. Time now to tackle the egt probe. Thanks for the help.

the probe is the easy part, I didn't even have to remove the inner wheel well. Let the truck cool off obviously, start it up and let it idle. Drill the hole, tap it and then shut the truck off and crank in your egt. Takes about 5 minutes, and it keeps the majority of the chips out of the turbo.
