Anybody running a temperature probe with their Mag Hytech diff. cover? I'm not sure where to buy one and what length to use. Does it have to sit in the oil or is it OK to have the oil splash onto it after you get moving? I'm looking for a good guage for this also.

Any OIL temp gauge of your choice with a NPT 1/8 inch sensor should do the trick ...

If you really want to know what the gauge means you must take a reading on stock diff, after you change fluid(change the grape juice). Then you can hook guage to diff. with the deep cover and new synthetic fluid which will run cooler than grape juice. Then you will know how much difference, if any the pan and new fluid made.
