Thanks for the pics. Did you install the DVD system yourself? Brand name on the system? On the navigation system, is it integrated with Onstar or do you have a separate GPS receiver?

Thanks again.

Yes who makes the DVD and console? Is it GM stock?

the nav. system is kenwood (kna-dv2100) it is dvd-rom, screen and ant. all in one, very easy to install

the dvd player is a farenheit , the only reason i pick that player is because i fit in the cubby in the dash. the over head screen is made by audiovox, monitor and tv tuner with cordless head phones

if you look to the dvd player lower right corner that lighted switch is to make the sound come out over the gm oem speakers

Rumaxed,

Which overhead console did you use? Their site did not list one for a Silverado. I'd like to have that for the kids on trips.

What are you watching??? Looks pretty fishy...

Great job in the install though. I always thought it would be neat to have TV reception whenever your in the truck...watching the local news, etc if camping.

Hey I have the same DVD player in the cubby and the same brake controller in the same place! ~good taste http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

I put the front monitor in the visor, but I use a Garmin streetpilot so I didnt need it in my sight (From previous experience, its too tempting and easy for me to watch the movie while driving) I put the rear monitors in the headrests; My wife has the overhead flip down and I didnt like how it blocks the rearview mirror sight. She like it though so I guess it just personal taste. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
