That's what I like

Here is my new weird spec. Duramax

Love the plain utility look, it's a truck not a Cadillac!

06 2500HD 4X4 Crew SB LBZ WT Summit white

Cruise
Power windows
Power doorlocks
Roof marker lights
Towing
Tinted windows
AM FM CD
Custom cloth seats
Chrome rear bumper

What I love

LBZ/A combo (fun machine!)
Vinyl floor covering, ride dirtbikes, easier to keep clean and nice
Cruise
Power doorlocks
Power windows
Power mirrors
Custom cloth seats
Steel wheels (had the shiny alum ones on my '03, too bling for me)
Black over fenders (most Summit white HDs I found had white over fenders)
Summit white (nice and plain, looks like a fleet vehicle!)

What I hate

Chrome bumpers and grill (anybody Line-X these things?)
Tinted windows (looks a little ghetto to me)
No keyless entry
No steering wheel buttons (fuel mileage stuff was fun to play with on my 03)

Take it or leave it

Roof marker lights

My dealer found this on the lot of another dealer 120 miles away. He said he did not think you could even order a W/T with power windows, power locks, power mirrors.

I guess thats why they make a truck with different trim levels. I'm glad you found what you were looking for on the lot cause it sucks waiting!

I personally wish it had more caddy like features :)

WT config, electric nothing

ZF-6 tranny
vinyl floor

vinyl 40/20/40 seats (everyone asks "ooooooh leather" no they are just soft)

I roll my window down and push a button to lock the door and adjust my mirrors by hand. I wanted electric mirrors with heat but had to up the package which upped the price about $4000. Most of the other stuff I didn't want. Perhaps I will find them in a scrap yard and wire them one day.

It did not have cruise control when I bought it. Doing high miles I needed that. Driving it home from TX was a long drive with no cruise. Got home and bought a turn signal control off ebay $51 with shipping and hooked it up.

It is plain jane. That is what I wanted though, a WORK TRUCK.
My wife still loves it! Likes riding in it. I did add a few eye catchers. Window louvers, and front wind/bug guard, rhino lined and undercoat.

She hated my old Ford E350 7.3 powerstroke van. The doghouse never sealed properly and it stunk like diesel. That baby ran though. It also got 21 mpg highway empty, and 16 loaded pulling 10,000 lbs. Had ford not changed to the 6.0 and kept the 7.3 they most likely would have had my sale instead of Chevy

Dogface-- I noticed your sig "no current performance mods (considering the EFILive)"

Unfortunatly EFILive isnt supported with your truck...maybe sometime in the future, but the Bosch ECM is going to be tough complicated animal to crack...

Im sure you can get a paintable grill & bumpers
Break the windows, replace with clears
you can add that
don't know anything about that

the title loured me in... where i live in CT, if there's a truck on the road its a 90% chance there's a woman driving it... what the hell happened to the men!!! not to be an ass or nothing but i've yet to see any of these woman do anything but pick thier kids up and skool and drive arround town... do we really need a diesel for that?
