I have a hole in the my fuel line, and I was going to piece it together with rubber hose. A guy told me that running rubber line on a diesel will not work like on a gas fuel line something about it collapsing or something. I am new to diesel just wondering if he is right or not. and if he is are there any inexpensive ways to fix the line myself?

he is probably refering to not using gas line with diesel fuel. You have to use Fuel line like napa gold series or something along that lines. If you use gas line instead of fuel line it will get soft and eventually leak from the diesel breaking it down.

Ahhhhh...good bit of info. I was not aware of. Am new to Diesels also. I was thinking about relocating my T-valve to make it easier to obtain fuel samples and placing an inline fuel PSI guage. 5 lb. seems to be the norm if the lift pump is working correctly?
