When I install new injectors what else will I need besides injectors, those little tubes and copper gaskets? Will I need a gasket for the turbo or exhaust gaskets. Think I may leave the Turbo on the exhaust manifold and pull the manifold off the head.
Thanks,
Dave

NAPA has an installation kit which will contain all the gaskets and intake gasket you will need, including hose, and washers.

So the intake has to come off? Is that to get the injection lines off at the IP so that you can get them out of the way at the injector. My thought is that the lines are to short to bend out of the way at the injector. Never done this on a diesel motor, can you tell?

Just the upper plenim will have to come off, generally if your carefull you can save that gasket and re-use it. Most pull the turbo but some can do it without pulling the turbo or exhaust manifold, they must have better tools because i pulled the turbo. The copper gaskets will come with the new injectors. There is no gasket under the turbo or on the exhaust manifold, after market gaskets can be bought for the exhasut manifold if the surface is too rough and you need them. The injector lines can be bent slightly out of your way while changing the injectors. Make sure to get the new return lines that don't require those stupid clips, way easier to install.

I'm working on installing injectors for the first time myself. Just started last night. I'm starting on the left side, of course, and saving the best for last.
So far it looks like a piece of cake on the left side. I'm hoping to get by with removal of only the wheel well liner on the right side. Not sure why you'd have to remove the upper plenum, but that may become apparent as I go. And so far I've had good luck with holding the injector lines just out of the way enough to make room for getting a socket on the injector.
All I seem to need for tools at this point is a 1/2" drive socket wrench, a 30mm impact socket, a 1/2" drive elbow, a 5" and a 10" extension, a needle nose for those pesky return lines, and some antisieze.

I did not have to pull intake for mine either side, pass side can be a b1tch I opted to pull the turbo rather than deal with the heat shield, there is a socket that has hex head flats for torque breaking that is supposed to allow injector removal without pulling turbo. When I bought the Kennedy HO's I borrowed the tool for the install and sent back upon completion of the job.

I jsut found it easier to remove the upper plenim for removing the turbo, i suppose you can do it without removing the plenim. IIRC i removed all the drivers side with lots of extensions and a nuckle and standing beside the fender, passenger side was the most FUN!
