I have a PC in the truck for movies, games, mostly music, and GPS nav. I had the audio out interfaced to the radio with a PAC Audio GM-24. It worked fine, but eventually quit. Actually, the sound would work, then fade out, and then the radio would switch away, and not see the AUX input...acted like an overheating chip.
I bought a new one with a higher version number. Again, worked ok, then no sound (at all, just died), even though the radio still saw the input this time.
And, why do I have to tap into power wires, when it comes with an interface cable?...that interfaces to a plug that has power???
Anyway, now I have one from USASpec. Seems to work fine so far, and it used the interface cable for it's own power, making install alot easier.
Full info:
2005 CCSB LLY LT trim. 6 disc in dash, w/ XM, and w/ onstar. USASpec DF-GM module.
Just thought I'd share, in case anyone else is looking for an aux interface box.
