After I lifted my truck and installed 35's on it, I now have the dilema of where to put my spare? Before the lift was installed, we held a full size 35" tire under my truck and it appeared that it may fit .. we were wrong.

So my spare is floppin around in the back of my truck. I've searched high and low for a spare tire mounting kit for the back of my truck that doesnt take up alot of bed space. Havent found anything that I like. I want something that I can mount to the side rails of the box so the tire rides vertical. I need my bed space.

Anybody have any idea's or mounting brackets that will do this?

Here is a suggestion. I'm thinking of this, 37's won't fit under mine.

Can the Fabtech Flat mount be mounted against the side rail of the box so the tire stands up?

Stand your tire up and see if the center fits next to the rail... if not, you'll have to custom fab something up.. I know a modified A frame type setup on a flat plate is what we use at work for the humvee tires.
