: Small coolant leak

I found a small dab of wetness under the truck this afternoon. Looks like something is leaking engine wise above the lower radiator hose and running along the hose down to an electrical cable and on to the ground.

Any help would be appreciated. Just need to determine if "I" should fix it or take back under warranty. The warranty thing is hard, as I have to de-mod the truck before I take it in. AFE, Attitude, that type of thing.

water pump? Look under the pump for a hole in the case, if the pump is going out it will leak from there. My pump started going out at 37000 miles.

Funny thing, it doesn't seem to leak while its hot. Let it sit for a few hours and after it cools the wetness appears on the driveway. Sort of middle to drivers side front of engine. Definitely coolant.

Easy to see from under truck, just behind the big hose on pump you will see the weep hole drip.Mine goes in tommorrow for pump replacement at 31,000 miles.

Just an update. I couldn't actually see the drip coming from the weep hole nor could the technician. I talked them into replacing the pump and after they removed and replaced the pump I was told they could confirm that was the problem. No more annoying wet spot on the driveway. Thanks to the great advice I got from the Techs here!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif
