You're not the only one that happened to. We brought the busted lights back where we bought it and got our money back. I stuck the OEM's back in.

I would contact sylvania. I bet they would help you out. There is a guy that posted in the last few days that he has HID lights in his rig. Might wanna do some searching.

Max thanks for the link it's the right side unfortunately .....

I threw the dam bulb in the trash it's not the money for the lamp that I'm concerned with it's the lens, man it killed it .... http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif

I'll contact Sylvania but like PC and his UNI it's a he said she said debate .... I never touched the bulb ... I do have witness to the fact when I reinstalled the new 55 ST's I'm cautious ...

I have to ask are the others popping bulbs have the HD 4 light on harness ??

Mockingbird took a dump on your bulb! They never forget!

Well that has to be a concern with light harness. It is putting a higher voltage to the bulbs which will definately decrease their life. With the silverstars they don't last long to begin with. When you start upping the voltage from ~13v to 14.4, I guess its a recipe for disaster.

If anyone made an HID kit with replacement housings I think I would consider going that way. I know they make them for the 99-02 chevs. I heard a rumour PIAA might be coming out with something for me but for around $1k http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif

Why not spend 5 bills on HID and be done with it? I think I would if anyone made it for my truck.
