ok,im still trying to figure out what is wrong with my truck`,so i need some info from people that have had injector problems and only those people.when your injectors went bad what where the symptoms.was there a lack of power,over/under fueling.did it set a code.black smoke/no smoke,whatever led the tech to decide there was an injector issue.thx

Rough idle. Miss at idle. Everyone within 30 feet of your truck is crying their eyes out for no apparent reason. People are changing lanes behind you so they can breathe. The car behind you at a stoplight suddenly stalls from oxygen deprivation. Abysmal fuel economy. Oil level rising as fast as the fuel gauge is dropping. Truck sounds like powerstroke. Those are the major ones i can think of.

My truck did not flip a DTC on any of them.

yes,ive seen those pics but i beleive mine is the opposite.i think mine wont open as much as they are supposed to.but keep it coming.

Mine had a bad smell like burning paint or fresh varnish.-:t Also smoke and surging at very slow speeds.

My 2003 lb7 had low power and then began to take a second to fire, then went to "hard starting" - then "no start". Progression from notice of starting issue to "dead truck" was 5-7 days.

My 01 puked oil/fuel out the crankcase breather - injector stuck open.

wow!! only 4 people on this forum have had injector trouble.i thought they were problematic!!

"Truck sounds like powerstroke" by Got Juice is funny. I told my contact at the GMC dealer just yesterday that I want him to take my "Ford" in to have the injectors checked. Seems worse at higher RPM's. Juice or any programmer just intensifies the problem. I feel a loss of power, especially at highway speed. I'll post more if I get any results soon.
