Some buddies of mine are looking at a camper, either 5er or pull behind. My question is how much can i tow. You can see my sig. for what I have.

I have the same truck as you do.


I pull A 5th wheel that weights right around 12,000 pounds and have no problems at all.


Pulling is not the hard part for the Duramax, what will get you is pin weight of the 5er.

You can pull any 32' 5er & probably most 35' 5ers. The size on a travel trailer would be a little smaller.

I pull a 33 5er with sand toys and crap goes about 13k with no issues!
