Is it ok to change out the Dexcool and replace with conventional antifreeze such as Prestone ? thanx in advance, bob

Can we change to something that GM won't say voids the warranty Cougar281 04-06-2004, 08:51 PM I don't know about the waranty bit, but when I put the new motor in my '95 Cougar, I'm going to replace the radiator and heater core, and use Zerex G-05. I've heard some very good things about it. Only problem is it is Chrysler and Ford approved, but not GM. Also, some European cars use it... My $.02 | ||
