Interesting read on the Powerstroke. If you go only by TSB's the Cummins is the best of the big three.

I have this buddy who's family owns one of the local Ford dealerships. He is endlessy going on about how great his truck is and how much better his motor is. I just ignore him because, well, I don't give a rat's behind. I just sent him that link ;)

for the majority of the owners here-the d-max could have 80 tsb's and the cummins 0 and they would still not admit the cummins is one hell of a motor!

I think everyone agrees the Cummins is great, most just don't like everything else that surrounds it! :)

I'll agree it is a heck of a motor, just too bad it is sitting in a really ugly piece of crap.

I have driven Powerstrokes for the last 8 years. I just purchased a 2006 LLY/Speed. It rides like a car and has every bit as much power as my 7.3's have had. The plus here is the fact that I can park the thing where ever I decided to pull in at and I am getting about 3 more mile to the gallon.

Oops one down fall my wife wants to drive this truck all the time!:help:

It's called Loyalty, and Loyalty is not generated just because a truck has a cool looking Bowtie or three Red letters on the grille. It's because the brand turns out a consistantly good product year after year. Loyalty is earned and Chevrolet/GMC/Duramax/Allison........... Well, I was going to write more, but after seeing those four names together, that seems to say it all! :exactly:
