I am very pleased with my fuel mileage so far...18-21 depending on conditions, and only 4000 miles. How much mpg's will I loose by going to 265's over the stock 245's? I read where someone said you loose mileage when you go over the 265's but is there much difference in the 245's? Also what does it do to your power?

It all depends on your driving. First of all, I don't think that the power is an issue at all. It takes off just as good, I bet you wouldn't notice. If you drove all highway, the same tire you have now in 265 would yield better mileage because the extra height giving you a lower effective ratio would exceed the mileage lost with the wider tire and the bit of extra weight. Now if you drive a mix of highway/city your mileage may stay about the same, and like I said depending on how you drive you could also loose some mileage. Either way, the difference will not be very much, unless you go to a much more agressive tread pattern now in which case you might lose 1-2mpg (M/T for example could cause that).

They sure look about a thousand times better though.

I hope that answers your questions as best as I can.
