Hello all, The question is .....Are the speedo and Odometer interconnected? The speedo was broken and has been registering speeds at 100 plus, while actually traveling at 40-50MPH...is the odo clocking miles at the higher speeds, or working independent of the errant speedo? Thanks for the help....:)

They are both sourced from the VSS, but depending on where the failure is, the odometer may still be correct.


Easy way to tell.... drive a measured mile and see if it registers 2.
