I have a Banks Six Gun ordered and have already installed an ISSPRO EGT gauge. Does anyone have any experience with how the EGT probe interfaces with the Banks Six Gun and Speed Loader?

Thanks

I have the Di Procol guages. There is a small screw that connects the wires from the probe to the gauge, one yellow and one red. I just lined the Banks wires up to it as it had the same style terminal connection. Yours should be the same

Thanks for the info. That is just what I thought I would do also.
What thermocouple did you use? The one that came with the Banks (if you have the speedloader) or the one that came with the guage?

Thanks:cool2:

I used the one that was with the guage. I had already installed it and it was easier to "tap" into the wires than try to replace it.

Thanks for the help.
Just got my Six gun today. Can't wait to get installing.

Yes, I had a hard time finding the right size tap around here though.
The installation of the Six gun was very easy and straight forward except for unclipping some of the stock connectors especially the camshaft one. Talk about hard to get to. With the speed loader installed also, I can see a real difference on setting number three as far as throttle response goes. There is sure a lot more pickup now. I used the thermocouple that came with the Six gun and tied in the gauge just as suggested by Cummins600 and it is working great. I had a snag in getting my Monster exhaust though and the folks at Performance Diesel in Houston are making it right. I should have it this week to complete the exhaust. I hope to get my trailer out soon to see the difference in torque. I used the Hoot method to drill and tap the manifold but covered the bit and tap in heavy whel bearing grease and took it slow.:)
