I have an 02 d-max. I started having problems with my starts about 6 months ago. As it turns out my HP Injection pump was starting to go south. Last week it would crank 8-10 seconds until it started. That was about enough of that so I called to see if it was still under some sort of warranty... there was a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty on certain items, HP Injection Pump being one of those which I had forgotten about. That part (without the warranty) can be a little salty though! Does this problem and solution seem familiar to anyone?
