Need Help!
Have a 02 2500HD wont shift out of 1st gear. Tried using the tow/haul mode to see if any change none. Service Eng light on.
First got eng light two days prior on 350 mile trip checked no problems. Light went off that night. drove yesterday all morning no problem parked and got in to go again service light on wont upshift.
Fluid level full not burnt.
Need to drive home for holidays today spent the last one in the desert!

Might be a clogged tran filter. When was tran serviced last and filter replaced?
